In the Dnipropetrovsk region, firefighter-rescuer Yevhen Konovalov died from a Russian FPV drone
Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Andriy Danyk: "Unfortunately, today we have another heavy loss in the family of rescuers: a firefighter-rescuer of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Sergeant of the Civil Protection Service Yevhen Konovalov, died. While off duty, Yevhen was hit by a Russian FPV drone in Marhanets. He was seriously injured incompatible with life. Yevhen devoted more than 20 years of his life to serving with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. During that time, he saved lives, worked side by side with his colleagues, and simply did his job day after day.
Each such loss is a pain that is felt not only by those closest to them. It is an empty space among colleagues, silence where a comrade's voice sounded yesterday, and a memory that will forever remain with those who worked nearby.
Sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Yevgeny.
May the rescuer's memory be blessed!
