The mission of the Institute's activities is to integrate and develop scientific knowledge and practical experience in the sphere of civil protection, fire safety, and man-made safety through conducting scientific research and implementing the obtained results into the practical activities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
General internationalization of the institution with an increase in the national intellectual potential of the state in the sphere of civil protection, fire and man-made safety, which will contribute to preventing the occurrence of emergencies, reducing their number, minimizing consequences and ensuring the protection of the population and territories of Ukraine in modern conditions.
