A series of full-scale fire tests were conducted at the Fire test site of the IPARCP
On June 15, at the Fire test site of the IPAR CP, specialists of the Fire Protection Center with the participation of representatives of the Department of Emergency Prevention of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and Lviv State University of Life Safety conducted a series of full-scale fire tests as part of the research work under the code name “Limitation of Fire Propagation”.
In the course of research, the algorithm of a new methodology for experimental research on predicting the limitation of fire spread by external enclosing structures was developed and the prospects for the introduction of a new standard for testing methods in this area in Ukraine were discussed.
In addition to that, within the framework of cooperation between the IPA RCP and LSU LS, an introductory inspection of new test equipment and experimental facilities of the fire test site was conducted, and priority areas for further cooperation in the field of scientific activities were identified.
