At the IPARCP, meetings were held with the heads of structural units on issues of civil protection of the central executive authorities.
On December 1, at the Institute of Public Administration and Research in Civil Protection with the application of modern information and communication technologies the meeting was held offline and online on organization and implementation of civil protection measures with the heads of subdivisions (employees) on civil protection of the central executive bodies and other state bodies. The event was chaired by the Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service Dmytro Bondar and took place under the participation of the Director of the Department of Organization of Civil Protection Activities Viktor Vitovetskyi, Director of the Department of Emergency Response Volodymyr Demchuk; the Head of the Institute of Public Administration and Research in Civil Protection Petro Volianskyi.
Within a few hours, the meeting participants discussed the status of implementation of civil protection measures in the central executive bodies; modernization of the state-wide automated system of centralized notification; the organization of sheltering of the personnel in the fund of protective structures of civil protection, implementation of engineering and technical measures of civil protection; organization of radiation and chemical protection; the role of the State Commission on Technolgenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situation in ensuring civil protection of the state, etc.
In general, the event had a fairly high teoretical and practical level, which was confirmed by the participants' discussions with moderate polemic.
After that, the meeting participants visited the “Point of Invincibility”, which is located on the base of the fire and rescue unit, where drinking water, a basic set of medicines and hygiene products, as well as power and communication points are prepared for visitors, so that everyone can recharge their smartphones and call their relatives.
