Specialists of the IPARCP conduct gas and smoke protection training for the SESU fire and rescue units
Experts of the Institute of Public Administration and Research in Civil Protection provide training for the gas and smoke protection specialists of the SESU fire and rescue units on a modern container-type mobile simulator. The simulator came to Ukraine from Germany and, on the initiative of the State Emergency Service, will travel around the regions.
The training complex consists of a control room and a workout area, as well as a labyrinth and a thermal smoke chamber. The total time of passing all stages is about 15 minutes. These measures allow you to improve firefighters’ skills and knowledge as they are entrusted with the most important task that is conducting fire investigation, as well as rescuing people and evacuating property from an unsuitable for respiratory organs environment.
In August, 1,668 gas and smoke protection workers were trained on the simulator (Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions).
